My PhotoMy SignetFenn-Huei Simon Sheu was born in Taiwan in 1966. He received the B.E. degree in the Department of Electrical Engineering from the National Taiwan University in 1988, and his M.S. degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 1992. With the Enhancement Award from the Division of Sponsored Research (DSR), UCF, he joined the School of Computer Science, University of Central Florida for his Ph.D. education. He received his Ph.D. degree from CS, UCF, and was distinguished with the award of "Outstanding Graduate Student" from IEEE Orlando Section in 1999.  Since August 1999, he has been an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department of National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, R. O. C. His research interests include parallel and distributed multimedia systems, database management systems, and computer communications.
