Homework 1
Due date: Feb. 25, 1997
- Fill out the
student information form and submit it in the next class.
(Everyone must submit it with a clear photo. You can get the
photo back at the end of semester.)
- Buy the textbook.
(You don't need to buy the reference books.)
- Get a computer account on CS20 if you intend to use
MATLAB on CS20. (If you can access MATLAB on PC, then you
don't need to get an account on CS20.)
- Get familiar with MATLAB. We are going to use MATLAB throughout
the class, but we won't spend too much time explaining how to
use it. If you have never used MATLAB before, it is time
to check it out and get some hands-on experiences.
- Get familiar with WWW (World Wide Web) and visit our
course homepage at
http://www.cs.nthu.edu.tw/~jang/courses/cs5611/.
In particular, the final projects are to be written in HTML.
So you need to get familiar with Web browsers/editors.
