AI: Artificial Intelligence or Assisted Intelligence

Abstract:
A survey of AI with comparisons to human intelligence, 
including automated reasoning, heuristic approaches, natural 
language processing, etc.  Hope to gain some insight on some 
directions of information management.

Speaker:
Dr. Paul Chi obtained his BS degree in mathematics from 
National Taiwan University and his Ph.D. in computer science 
from University of Maryland College Park. He worked as professor 
in several universities in the states, China and Taipei.  
His interests include induction and recursion; mathematics 
and the board game Go.
