Dr. Chin-Yu Huang, born in Chung-Hua, Taiwan, is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan. At the age of 22, he passed the National High Examination given by the Ministry of Examination for civil service in the category of computer engineer and the National High Examination given by the Ministry of Examination for professionals and technologists in the category of computer engineer. Besides, he was also certified as an Information Processing Engineer by the Industry Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Executive Yuan. He enrolled in the Chinese Army as a second lieutenant for the mandatory military service (two years). He received the MS (1994) and the Ph.D. (2000) in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei. He had worked in the industry for more than 12 years and has extensive experience in commercial software development and financial payment-system design. From 1990 to 1999, he worked at Taiwan power company, National Bureau of Standards, and Bank of Taiwan. He was a senior software engineer at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (tsmc) from 1999 to 2000. Before joining National Tsing Hua University in 2003, he was a division chief of the Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Taipei. His research and development interests include software engineering (particularly in software reliability, software testing, and software metrics), software project management, software testability, fault tree analysis, Markov analysis, etc. He was included in the 2007 and 2009 Editions of Marquis Who’s Who in the World. He received the Ta-You Wu Memorial Award from the National Science Council of Taiwan in 2008. He is a member of IEEE.
黃慶育博士，出生於台灣(彰化縣員林鎮)，曾應全國性公務人員高等考試電子工程職系計算機工程科考試及格與專門職業暨技術人員高等考試資訊技師考試及格，領有經濟部工業局所頒發之資訊技師執照。他在台灣服二年義務役 預官於宜蘭金六結，歷經陸軍少尉通信排長、有線電通信官等職務。他大學時就讀於新竹的國立交通大學，爾後自國立台灣大學電機工程學研究所(計算機科學組)獲得碩士(1992~1994)及博士(1995~2000)學位。黃博士在1990年至1999年間曾工作於台灣電力公司、經濟部中央標準局(現為智慧財產局)、台灣銀行總行資訊室等機構。除此之外，他於1999年進入台灣積體電路製造股份有限公司擔任資深軟體工程師一職。在2003年2月加入清大之前，黃博士為中央銀行資訊室規劃及設計科科長(十二職等)。他在央行服務期間，曾在2001年 時奉派參加東南亞國家中央銀行總裁聯合會(SEACEN)與國際清算銀行(BIS)支付清算系統委員會(CPSS)於印尼巴里島所舉辦之重要支付系統核心準則(SIPS)官方會議。黃博士目前是國立清華大學資訊工程學系的副教授，他的研究領域包括了軟體工程(特別在軟體可靠度、軟體測試、軟體度量)、軟體專案管理、軟體可測性、嵌入式系統可靠度計算、故障樹分析與馬可夫分析等。黃博士曾獲97年度(2008)國科會吳大猷先生紀念獎，他目前是IEEE的會員。
